James Lackey (b.ca. 1806/1810) moved from North Carolina to Wayne County, Tennessee, and married Margaret Lucinda White about 1831, and moved (via Mississippi, Kentucky and Missouri) to Sharp (then Lawrence) County, Arkansas before the Civil War. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Colorado and elsewhere.
