Résumé du livre
This field book documents botanical collecting in the Bahamas in 1905 and 1918-1919. The first section is Nathaniel Lord Britton and Charles Frederick Millspaugh's botanical collecting in the Bahamas in 1905 on a New York Botanical Garden and Field Museum cruise and expedition. It continues Field notes Vol. 44. This section is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 6760-9394. Entries include genus and species, and location. Immediately following is an undated list of specimen numbers 1-274, with locations mainly in New Providence. The next section lists collections of Lewis Jones Knight Brace in New Providence, 1918-1919, specimen numbers 9395-10138. Most entries have both genus and species, some only genus, and some are blank. Specific locations within New Providence are not given. Pages 186-204 of the notebook are blank and the last page notes that blank pages 205-252 were removed.
