The Frank Allen Papers, 1904-1965

Frank Allen was a Professor of physics at the University of Manitoba, 1904-1944, and continued researching after his retirement. The collection consists primarily of handwritten and typed drafts of his treatise Responses of the Organism to Stimulation which was posthumously edited and published by John P. Zubek in 1975. There are also many articles, either published or unpublished, some lecture notes and reviews, as well as a short genealogy of the Allen family. -- Donated by his daughter Lillian Allen, ca. 1980.
