Nineteenth Century Interior Decorative Wall Painting: A Four County Central New York Overview - Otsego, Chenango, Cortland and Tompkins Counties, developed out of the Cooperstwon Graduate Programs Folk Art Seminar with Agnes Halsey Jones and Louis C. Jones in the Spring of 1977. The text and thirty-one building forms are the result of research undertaken to determine the kinds and extent of wall painting in this four-county area of central New York State. The period of wall painting covered in this thesis spans the 19th century, ending with the year 1900.
