Résumé du livre
Food Crumbs is the fourth book of short stories by Jan Wouters, inspired by everyday experiences about Cornelis, Albert Schweitzer, the Adriaen van Ostade Avenue, bicycles and ice cream, love life, the exhibition in the cathedral, IJsselvliedt, Andre Rieu, the reception and after-school care. This volume includes color photos of paintings by the author. Some made from a sprayed ink and templates on rough watercolor paper. Other paintings are watercolors. Jan Wouters (64) grew up in Hierden, near the Veluwe and near the forest. He went to Utrecht to study theology. In 2010, he published his first collection for those who cannot sleep; and in 2012 his second, called Crumbs. In 2013, it was followed by Even More Crumbs. He writes regularly for Alter. Alter is the leaf of Altrecht mental health. Due to an unfortunate fall, he has a spinal cord injury and is now in a wheelchair. Jan now lives in a nursing home. He has a beautiful room where he can continue writing calmly.
