Lois Lawson was born 6 May 1895 in Moline, Illinois. Her parents were Fabian Lawson (1862-1934) and Caroline Reid (1867-1897). She married Eugene Lewis Ross (1900-1944), son of Nathan Kittredge Greaser Ross (1866-1938) and Anne Mary Lewis (1872-1955), in 1933. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Illinois, Iowa, Pennsylvania, England and Sweden.
