Rockfish charters were conducted to the west coast of Vancouver Island in 1985 and 1986 to collect length frequency samples from all management sub-areas for both years and for silvergray and canary rockfish. The samples would serve to examine the variance in length composition over time and space and to provide length composition data for stock assessment.
