The Trials of Faith

Jacob Facelli, a young Roman Catholic Priest working in New York has come to the end of his rope. His faith has left him along with any hope he ever had. He feels as though God has betrayed him and he decides to commit suicide. Through a miracle, God saves Jacob and tells him that he must be the leader of a new spiritual revival in the world. God tells Jacob that the religious institutions of the world are destroying the world by using his name for their own earthly benefit and that they must be stopped. From then on, Jacob's life becomes a series of religious trials and tribulations that will lead him to question everything but his faith.
