THIS IS A WORK OF REALITY, given in a fictional setting. In reality shows, the prize is temporary money. Eternal life is the prize in this story. Expect resemblances to actual events and to persons living and dead, coincidental or not. Beyond this, scripture gives some general ideas of what it will be like just prior to Messiah's return. You will find how these "general ideas" may happen. Most of all, be prepared to come out of your comfort zone.
The author-retired, a former missionary in Sierra Leone and the Philippines, pastor in America, and Bible College teacher-has had many experiences in a variety of religious and non-religious settings, and draws from them.
This story is a "how-to" that takes important principles and spiritual truths and places them in a format we can understand-the life of a young man as he suffers heartache and loss, learns purpose, and finds answers to the "why" questions that we all ask ourselves.
As we share Angelo's journey with him, his struggles and victories, we'll see what it really means to be born again, why we need it, and that being born again is only the beginning of the journey.
