Four family's emigrate from Europe to America in the late 1800's. They left behind their family's. and their war-torn countries. They found peace on the Minnesota frontier and began their new lives. They struggled with life on the frontier. and as time passes, the immigrant families combine and get married. A generation later, one of the next generation is drafted into the US Army and fights in a new European war. He was assigned to a tank Battalion and was thrust onto bloody Omaha beach on D-Day. After many bloody battles, Germany was defeated. He had survived and returns home to rebuild his life. He was reunited with a young girl that he had been writing to during the war in Europe. He fell in love with her and they were shortly married. His new family grew and expanded into future generations.
