The study examined the usefulness of phytoplankton primaryproduction data in predicting potential fish yields from NWTlakes. It determined whether the sampling and experimentalprocedures that are used to measure productivity in other FWIprograms could be easily adapted to studying a diverse group ofremote and/or remote lakes in the NWT. This report givesdetailed descriptions of these methods and summarizes the datathat were obtained.
