Résumé du livre

'The Waterson Kids'About the bookDuring their schooling years the Waterson kids (Ruby, Hope and William) were fortunate to have many family holiday adventures. Over an eight year period the Waterson family went on four overseas adventures and four Australian adventures. There are eight chapters in this book. Each chapter tells the story of one of those adventures. In these adventure stories we have Ruby (eldest), Hope (three years younger than Ruby) and William (the youngest and two years younger than Hope). 'Us kids' in the book refers to Ruby, Hope and William as the main characters, along with their pets Tuppence (fox terrier dog), Checkerboard (pet cat) and Toby (peach-faced lovebird parrot). The stories are mostly true, with themes based on experiences encountered along the way with the author's family holidays many years ago. The book also has an educational theme. William is the narrator of the book.
