This is a story about one Canadian family. This book follows each branch of Donald Young's mother's and father's family trees back as far as he could with confidence. The book is organized so that each family line is discussed one generation at a time. With each new generation, the author follows his direct ancestor down to the next generation.Thirty-six of Mr. Young's great-grandparents immigrated from Scotland, Ireland, England and the USA to what is now Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta between about 1774 and 1866.
