John Stone (1827-1874), son of William and Elizabeth Stone, married Mary Hancock in 1846, and immigrated in 1849 from West Bronwest, Stafford County, England to St. Louis, Missouri. They later moved to other towns in Missouri, and both died in Lincoln County, Missouri. Des- cendants and relatives lived in Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, New Mexico and elsewhere.
