Mathew Talbot, born ca. 1699 (parents not proved) married Mary Williston ca. 5/6 May 1720, 1721 or 1722. She was born in 1697, the daughter of James Williston of Maryland. They were the parents of 4 sons. Mary died 1 Oct 1736 and Mathew married, second, Jane Clayton of Bedford Co., Virginia, 23 May 1737. They were the parents of two children. Mathew died ca. 1758 at age 59 in Bedford Co., Virginia. Descendants have lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, California and elsewhere in the United States.
