Résumé du livre
"This paper demonstrates that gender inequity exists in subtle and overt forms in schools throughout the nation at every level from elementary school to graduate school. Although there are multiple causes of gender inequality, this paper focuses on preservice training, the role of the teacher, the curriculum, instructional methods, standardized tests, parental influences, and societal pressures as the major culprits in the educational process."--Page 4
