As with earlier volumes in this highly successful series, Current Surgical Practice Volumes 6 and 7 present a selection of topics (partly based on lectures given at the Royal College of Surgeons of England) reflecting important areas in modern surgical practice, and which will challenge mostsurgeons at some stage during their careers. Throughout the books emphasis is placed on each contributor's own personal experience and evaluation, and thus the approach is quite different from that of the conventional textbook.
