60 leaves of text, each folded in the shape of a kimono, diplayed on 6 pieces of string, 10 p. per string, strung between two bamboo poles that are supported by two thinner bamboo poles at both the top and bottom. The text is read from the top string to the bottom. The 1st, 3rd, and 5th strings display the rectos of the leaves bearing the text, to be read left to right, with the text facing front. The 2nd, 4th, and 6th strings display the the versos of the leaves, showing the kimono appearance of the folded pages; if the work is flipped around the pages on these lines are also read left to right.
