Résumé du livre
The work summarized in this report was aimed at developing an experimental active suspension system for a quarter-ton rubber-tired vehicle, the Iltis. The work was an attempt to produce a system which has the flexibility to reproduce the action of a variety of commercial active suspension systems. In this way, their ability to control the ride quality of the Iltis could be compared objectively through full-scale testing. Aspects of the work included a review of the state of the art as found in the literature, developing a conceptual design, laboratory testing, installation on the vehicle, field tests, and computer simulation of active suspension systems.
