Résumé du livre

This is the third book of the Sailing Around the World Series, which has been formatted to help children and teenagers with reading difficulty. Jonathan, a self-taught sailor left banking to sail around the world. For four years, he headed west into the setting sun as his objective, whether it was 1000 or 10 miles, he knew where he was going, but not what adventures were in front of him. This story is more than just sailing but an action packed adventure with a sinking, violent storms, and development of a band of brothers! In today's world of 24/7 communication and electronic maps, Jonathan experiences of foreign ports, yachties from different cultures, engineering breakdowns not to mention a 'perfect storm' all via radio and phone boxes seems like a historical adventure, but it was only 25 years ago. He is one of the few Asian circumnavigators who have written a book about what it's like to come from the Far East, sailing into foreign ports.
