Résumé du livre

Scientific Essay from the year 2024 in the subject Environmental Sciences, grade: 1.7, University of Applied Sciences Eberswalde (FACULTY OF FOREST AND ENVIRONMENT), language: English, abstract: Forests play a vital role in biodiversity conservation. They provide habitats for numerous plant and animal species, including endangered and threatened species, and play a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance of the ecosystem. Conservation efforts must continue to ensure the long-term survival of these critical ecosystems especially under changing climate with longer and more pronounced droughts. In addressing the challenges posed by water scarcity and climate change is crucial for biodiversity conservation. This requires a combination of better water management practices, the protection and restoration of critical habitats such as wetlands, and the development of new technologies to improve water use efficiency.
