Teasing Life is a collection of poems about the small and great suffering that affects humans at this time, in a world that has become the advent of modern media. In this book, the modern sense of life was expressed by the poems that managed to pierce, but also to move, often with a grim smile as a result. Artist / poet / performer and author Johan van der Dong created projects such as De Postbus van God and Hotline van God that led to his breakthrough to a wider audience. In these projects, he shows himself to be vulnerable. He tries to strike a chord with people. In 2012, his project De Postbus van Allah was nominated for a Freedom Award. In 2010, he published his first book of poetry: Als een Gekooid Vogeltje.
