God Is Here

In our busy world we often forget to stop, look around, and see the beauty that God has created for us. We speak to God in our prayers, but He is only in a few Our Father's and Glory Be's or when we are desperate for help. I challenged my class to find God in their everyday lives and write about a time they now realize that God was by their side even though they were unaware of it at the time. My amazing students discovered God in more places than they ever knew! Hopefully, this awareness will survive the rest of their lives, and they will always know that to stay "Connected to the Vine". God is with us every day and everywhere; we just need to open our eyes and hearts to Him.
