Failed baseball player after a serious injury ruined his college career, Alec Jedynak now works as a night janitor for Calcu-Star Laboratories in Berkeley, CA. During one of his late night shifts Alec is recruited into serving as the cameraman for a complex experiment. The first experiment is a success and the pair of doctors request that Alec return the next night to be their cameraman.Midway through the the second run an earthquake ruins the experiment sending Alec and the two doctors through the wormhole and onto an alien planet. There they find themselves embroiled in a conflict between two alien species. Alec's actions will have a permanent effect on the aliens as he works with the two doctors to try and find a way back home.
