The Committee conducted an intensive inquiry into the history of gov't.-sponsored human radiation experiments & intentional environmental releases of radiation that occurred between 1944 & 1974. They studied the ethical standards of that time & of the 1990s & developed a moral framework for evaluating these experiments.
