Résumé du livre
Daniel Appleton White wrote this memoir about his four years as an undergraduate at Harvard College, from 1793 to 1797, in January of 1837. It seems to have been written for William and Henry, presumably his grandsons, and it contains lengthy passages about a wide variety of experiences White had as a student. He wrote about his classes and professors, student life, politics in the world at large, American politics, food, the individuals in his class, and many other topics. It includes passages from a diary that White seems to have kept as a student, as well as reflections clearly written after the passage of time.
