Résumé du livre

Presents findings from a project carried out to assist the Children's Commission of British Columbia to compile information from outside sources that assessed the implementation of recommendations previously made by the Commission regarding the provincial child and family service system. The project conducted focus group sessions in each of five regions of the province that addressed five issues from the perspectives of managers and front-line service providers. The issues relate to prevention and early support services, integrated case management and information sharing, assessing and reducing risk, training of service providers, Aboriginal children and youth, youth services, and children in care. The appendix contains a table of focus group questions.
