Résumé du livre

Novel written in the form of an encyclopaedia. A cardboard box mysteriously turns up in Australia. Inside it are hundreds of pieces of paper that contain entries for an encyclopaedia of the modern Pacific nation, Abaza. The would-be editor, an Abazian exile, gradually realises that the entries reveal the secret history of his country, a nation at war with itself. Author has written extensively for stage and screen, including the plays 'Radiance' and 'Cosi', which were also made into films. He is also the author of the memoir 'The Twelfth of Never'.
