When the Duncans arrived, all those Millennia ago, we were but beasts, cavemen hurling poop and beating each other with rocks. They flew down from the skies, huge non-corporeal creatures that attached themselves to us, fed off our energy and gave us the one thing mankind was lacking? inspiration. As we evolved and developed they were there, as we discovered and explored they were there, we just never saw them. Then one day Patrick had an accident in a lab. Now Patrick can see them and Patrick is terrified? Wouldn't you be? But what happens when you take away the thing that caused evolution and the development of a species? Now Patrick must find a way to undo the damage his Duncan has done, make it up to a world now largely populated by the poop throwing cavemen of old and maybe find a way to survive.
