Résumé du livre
Maps and plans which form part of the archival record are often a rich source of historical information on Aboriginal history and government-Aboriginal relations. This catalogue lists significant cartographic documents within the holdings of the National Map Collection relating to Indian affairs in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. Most of the items listed form part of the records of the Central Registry System of the Indian Affairs Branch. Other material includes Indian Lands Sales maps, Indian Affairs Survey Records plans, maps from the Indian Claims Commission, and maps from other federal departments & agencies. Citations are arranged first by province, then by name of reserve & date.
