Résumé du livre
A philosophical inquiry into the theoretical limits of the scientific project. The author argues that while science is limited, there is no reason to believe that it will reach a dead end. In fact, he contends, the sorts of disabilities to which science is subject -- fallibilism, instability, and thus inability to arrive at anything ultimate and definite -- are simply the reverse side of its strengths as an endlessly versatile intellectual tool.
