Résumé du livre

The book of Revelation holds the unique status of being the final great prophetic portion of scripture. It acts as the capstone on the pyramid of the Old and New Testament writings. Its presentation of Christ builds structurally on the previous Christological writings; it affirms the unity of the witness of Scripture concerning Christ; and it stands at one of the highest literary points of Scripture. A literary analysis of this book will show how the elements within the text enhance the biblical picture of Jesus Christ as Messiah and will help to demonstrate briefly the coherence between the message of Revelation and the rest of Scripture. - leaf 6.
