Jedediah Barton, son of Samuel Barton and Hannah Bridges, was born 18 September 1707 in Framingham, Massachusetts. He married Lydia Pratt, daughter of Jonathan Pratt and Sarah Gale, 23 March 1730/1. They had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Vermont.
