Résumé du livre

Analyzing the Past with Contemporary Methods. Archaeological chemistry is the application of techniques and approaches from chemistry and the chemical sciences to the analysis of the material record of past societies. It involves the authentication of ancient materials and the determination of place of origin. This book highlights recent developments in analytical chemistry--particularly methods of mass spectrometry--which serve to answer questions about materials and chronology in archaeology. The material included in this book features primary research presented at the 2023 ACS Central Regional Meeting (CERM).
