Résumé du livre
One of three items published on the occasion of the presentation of Thomson's work at the VIII Bienal Internacional de Cuenca, which took place in Ecuador in 12 April - 11 June 2004. The others are "Todo ha sido grabado" and "Easy field guide to Mungo Thomson". "Each of these three booklets is modeled after an existing type of publication related to Thomson's project research and other influences. One takes the form of a religious tract, another the form of a naturalists' field guide to the desert, and the third the form of Hermann Hesse's paper-back novel "Siddhartha", referencing the artist's journey of self-discovery and search for self-awareness as well as the ubiquity of Hesse's paperback novels among the counter-cultural milieus where Thomson's work takes its inspiration" -- http://www.csulb.edu/org/uam/Publications.htm.
