Field notes Vol. 346A documents botanical collecting by Francis Kingdon Ward in Burma and India in 1948-1949. It is comprised of a typewritten list of plant specimens from which seeds were received by NYBG between March 23, 1948 and April 14, 1950. The specimen numbers are in the range of 16061-19108 (nonconsecutive). Specimens were collected in 1948-1949 in Burma (Myanmar) and in the Khasi Plateau of Assam, India. Many entries include field notes describing the plant and habitat. There are some handwritten annotations.
