General description of the collection: The John C. Jensen papers include a completed World War II Veterans Survey questionnaire with appended note from Jensen. He expressed the opinion that his division's leadership was very good except for a few bad officers. Jensen stated that his initial experience of combat was as a stretcher bearer at the Battle of Cassino. Jensen believed that he had driven the first American vehicle into Rome.
