Résumé du livre
It's an exciting time on the multi-generational Rhodes Family Farm as granddaughter Dusty's classmates are coming for a field trip to learn about agriculture and where food comes from. Dusty leads her classmates and teacher on a tour of the farm while she explains that chocolate milk doesn't come from a brown cow, and different varieties of wheat make different food products. When a gust of wind sends her classmate's hat sailing into the cornfield, he runs after it and gets lost. Rocky the dog finds him and leads him back to safety. At lunchtime, the teacher discovers sack lunches were inadvertently left at school. The Rhodes family saves the day by enlisting the help of everyone in preparing lunch from food grown on their farm. The book includes recipes for readers to prepare the same meal in the storyline.
