This is a facsimile of the rare 1890 publication on the Jenolan Caves. In it Foster writes enthusiastically and clearly on the routes to the caves, the caves themselves, and the surrounding area. At the rear of the book there are 8 pages entitled "Geological observations on the Jenolan Caves" by C. S. Wilkinson and Lamont Young. For this facsimile edition a photograph of Joshua James Foster and a brief biography of him is included.
