Résumé du livre

"The Alberta forestry sector was identified by AI-EES as being particularly exposed to variations in energy prices. With the de-regulation of the Alberta power sector, many sectors of Alberta's economy have noted a marked rise in energy cost uncertainty. Investing in energy efficiency opportunities is seen as a means to reduce greenhouse gas footprints, reduce the load on the province's energy grid, and reduce energy costs. This project reflects AI-EES and the WCER's commitment to helping Alberta become a global leader in sustainability and energy efficiency. Alberta Innovates aims to use the inventory of energy saving opportunities to inform and aid the Alberta government in developing policy around achieving energy efficiency and lowering energy consumption"--Introduction.
