Résumé du livre
Nāhi'ena'ena was born about 1815 to Kamehameha I, King of the Hawaiian Islands, and Keōpūolani, his wife. She married her brother, Kamehameha III. "She was quickly ensnared in the contradictions of her dual role, as pupil of missionary teachings and as sacred chiefess." She died in 1836.
