Résumé du livre

The purpose of this study is to discover what motivations members of a particular sub-group have in the use of e-mail discussion lists and to find out what satisfaction the users receive from the lists. The uses and gratifications perspective is used as a theoretical perspective and as a method for analysis. Furthermore, there are broad implications incorporating issues concerning religion in America, the use of interactive media and the application of the uses and gratifications perspective.
