"This study aims to explore the strategies that educators used in the improvement of Oral Communication Skills (OCS) in the secondary level of the Hatillo public school system of Puerto Rico. It also searches for real experienced strategies that teachers think work and are important in the teaching of OCS in nowadays ESL classrooms. Therefore, this study was made through questionnaire to 24 secondary school teachers of the Hatillo district. The results of this study may help those teachers who are in their journey of seeking strategies to motivate students to learn OCS for the daily life use"--Leaf ii
