Résumé du livre

The following theoretical and experimental programs are in progress which are related to the instability and scaling problems in rocket motors: A steady-state aero-thermo-chemical analysis for a liquid bipropellant rocket motor with small contraction ratio employing droplet ballistics for both fuel and oxidizer. A non-linear wave propagation analysis in a droplet burning heterogeneous combustion field. A non-steady droplet evaporation analysis and concomitant experimental verification. The paper includes the experimental results obtained thus far from investigating the oscillatory behavior of the 500 1bm thrust JP5-Lox rocket motor. (Author).
