Résumé du livre
Extract: Data collection, processing and needed improvements for the new farm sector economic indicators are discussed in this paper. Improved data needs for production expenses, measurement of farm assets, gross receipts, and off-farm income are discussed. Three critical areas are listed: (1) livestock flow and capital, (2) household interactions with the establishment, and (3) the disaggregation of the accounts. The overall lack of data for disaggregations is listed as a critical issue and probably the most easily corrected of all the data needs for the program.
