Résumé du livre

Results of the PZT observations at the ILOM and the USNO based on a common star system (MC3) are studied from non-tidal geophysical points of view. Relative displacements of Mizusawa to Washington, which are derived from residuals of time and latitude are compared with Minster and Jordan's plate motion (1978). Differences of optical observations between Mizusawa and Washington show a secular variation associated with a periodic variation over a 4 year period. The secular variation shows a similar direction as that of Minster and Jordan's plate motion. But the magnitude of the optical observation is found to be larger than that of the plate motion derived by Minster and Jordan.
