Culpeper goes beyond the scope of the previous volumes in two ways. Secondly, he discusses the evolution of development theory and development-promotion which sets the context for the growth of multilateral development bank activity over the last half-century. For those with an interest in the role of the multilateral development banks, this book provides an excellent overview of the group.
