Lori Yates felt as if she were being punished when her mother informed her that she'd made plans for the wayward young woman to spend eight weeks of her summer at a summer camp as a counselor. Since she was twenty years old with no clear direction, her mother thought that the influential couple who ran the camp, the Wheelers, could be of some good use to her.
