Correspondence, scrapbooks, clippings, memorabilia, and photographs relating to Lyford's student years, to her career in public health nursing, first as a staff nurse and supervisor in the Visiting Nurse Association in Minneapolis, Minn., and New Haven, Conn. and as a consultant in maternal and child health nursing for state health departments in San Francisco, Calif., and Des Moines, Iowa (1933-1952), and especially to her teaching career at the University of Iowa (1953-1976).
