There are singular choices in a person's life that affect all the events from that point on. That single decision can define their life and begin great happiness or start a terrible downward spiral. Locked in a rainstorm traffic jam, Howard looks in his review mirror and sees a frightening specter emerge from the darkness. A flash of lightning reveals it further, sending a chill through him as he gets his first real look at the dark, hooded figure. Its clothing is far too large, and every inch has rips, tatters, or some disgusting stain. He watches as it staggers down the steep ramp toward him, and instinct tells him to run.
